Born and raised in Jersey City, he and his wife moved to Toms River in 1981. He worked as a truck driver with Kepwel Spring Water Co. in Ocean, NJ for seven years.
Brian was a lifelong fan of the NY Yankees as well as the NY Giants and loved thoroughbred horse racing.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Theresa Tatano Leavy; his two sons, Christopher and his wife Lauren Leavy of Brick and Shaun Leavy of Toms River; his sister, Sharon Decker of Red Bank; his nieces and nephew, Lauren, Colleen and Scott as well as his mother-in-law Frances Tatano of Berkeley Twp.
