Catherine Baldi, nee Orlando age 90 of Toms River passed on Sunday March 30th, 2014. Committed to serving her community, she worked for Dover and Toms River Townships' Senior Center for 10 years before retiring. Catherine was born in Newark and lived in Fords before moving to Toms River. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 1985. Surviving are her sons Harvey William Cerrato and his wife Judy of Pt. Pleasant Beach and Vincent Gerard Baldi of Lakewood, her grandchildren Julie Cerrato Boersig and her husband Chuck of Mountainview, CA, William H. Cerrato and his wife Shea of Annapolis, MD, Anthony E. Baldi and his wife Megan and Michael V. Baldi, great granddaughters Zoe Leigh and Riley Rae, her brother Matteo Orlando and his wife Theresa. Also surviving is her former daughter in law Linda Baldi. Visiting will be Thursday from 3-7 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Rd. Toms River. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:30 AM Friday at St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
