Clare M. Doran

Clare M. “Joan” Doran, 90, of Toms River, went to be with her Lord, on December 29, 2016. She was born on September 14, 1926 to the late Charles and Laura Thomas. On December 6, 1950, she married Terrence J. Doran in Plymouth, England, and settled in Perth Amboy prior to moving to Toms River.

Clare was a loving wife to husband, Terrence, for 66 years. She also was a beloved mother, treasured grandmother, and dearest great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her children; Susan (Augustine) Anfuso, Manchester, NJ, Debra (Richard) Gallo, Crystal Lake, IL, Kenneth Doran, Freehold, NJ, and Terrence Doran, Manahawkin, NJ; eight grandchildren, Malena (Pete) Inchausti, Christopher (Anna) Anfuso, Tina (Scott) Link, Rich (Cheryl) Gallo, Jr., Tom (Sara) Gallo, and Terrence P. , Mitchell and Natalie (Fiancé Josh) Doran ; and nine great-grandchildren Isabella, Emma, Ava Inchausti, Dante and Abigail Anfuso, Justin and David Link, and Vinny and Joey Gallo. She leaves behind her siblings who reside in England; Leonard (Chonie) Goss, Denzil (June) Goss, Laura Goss, and Doreen (Ray) Sell.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday January 2, 2017 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 9:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ.
