Daniel Robert Holsten

Daniel Robert Holsten, 88, of Toms River passed away on Friday May 1st, 2015 at Holiday Care Center in Toms River, NJ. Born on May 10th, 1926 to John and Caroline in North Brunswick, NJ, he resided in Milltown, NJ prior to moving to Toms River in 2006. He worked as a self-employed contractor and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946. Daniel was a gentle, kind and loving man who meant the world to his family. He was predeceased by his first wife Faire “Dolly”. Surviving are his loving wife Noreen, children Daniel Holsten Jr. and wife Tamara of North Brunswick, NJ, Gary Holsten and wife Deborah, Candace Pellicane and husband John of East Brunswick, NJ, Kelly Kruchinski and husband Don of Old Bridge, NJ, step children Michael Maggio and wife Christina of Milltown, NJ, Thomas Maggio of the Philippines, Suzanne Goff and husband Edward of Milltown, NJ, Joseph Maggio and wife Peggy of Palm Coast, FL and Dina Coster and husband Kevin of Louisville, KY, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren.
