I have known Diane for many years. She was a great friend to me. She was always so generous with me and my daughters and a very loving person. I am upset that I was not aware that she passed away. I would of been honored to be at her service. I will miss her and our talks. My condolences to her family.

Stew, we are so sorry for your loss.  The only comfort those left behind is the belief of freedom. Freedom from pain and suffering and if she is anything like you I am sure she has her huge angle wings now so she can watch down on you.  Please know if you need anything let us know.

Diane has been like a sister to us over the past 40 years.  We will never ever forget all the wonderful memories we have of her. It wouldn't be a special family occasion if Diane   wasn't there to share it with us. She is in our hearts forever.  Miss her terribly.

My Aunt Diane was one of the most special people ever to walk this earth.  She was always ready with a smile, a warm heart, a conversation, or a plate of her cookies!  Our holidays with her are my favorite memories.  Many blessings, Aunt Diane, you are in my heart always!

My sister-in-law Diane was the most thoughtful, caring , wonderful person you could imagine. She never forgot her five nieces and nephews,their children, nor Dick and I on our birthdays, Christmas, or any other holiday We felt so bad that she was in poor health and had to suffer the way she did.      Diane was the best sister any brother could ever have!  She was also a great Aunt to Heidi, Meg, Sam, Heather & Ben. Diane was a thoughtful, giving, and selfless person; helping whomever, whenever, and wherever needed despite severe physical problems. Always in constant pain, but persevered and accomplished much and always with love.
     Diane was a very sweet but proud person, she never wanted to accept help from anyone until she was cajoled into it. For her, it was always GIVING!
     Diane had very very dear and special friends from the time when she lived in E. Brunswick. Barbara & Fred Cutolo & family, and Tola & Barry Kaplan & family. Barb & Tola were the sisters Diane never had. 
     After moving to Holiday City South, her close and special friends included Arlene Toth, Florence Fialkowski, and Olive Alexander.
          Considering the fact that she had severe esophageal problems, she enjoyed going to dinner at Charlie Brown's for KING CUT PRIME RIB with her friends.  She would bring her meal home to eat over several days.  She never wasted anything.
     During the last 2 yrs after her heart attack, she still managed to cook, clean, and write and distribute her many birthday, anniversary, and various holiday greeting cards.  She even baked her special cookies over the Christmas holiday season.
     She was an accomplished and talented crafter and baker.  Her specialties were birthday and wedding cakes.  Diane baked a variety of cookies which were given to her friends throughout the year, and especially at holidays. 
  Every friend and business associate that I have in Wisconsin loved Diane, and they couldn't wait for her Holiday cookies. This was especially true for Mike Schwantes and his Mom Terry.  Mike is the brother that I never had, and a wonderful human being. Both my Mom and Diane loved him and Terry very much.
    Besides me and her dear friends Arlene, Barbara, Florence, Olive, and Tola; her cat Irving will miss her most of all.    STEW

Auntie Diane, You lived a life full of caring about other people and doing little and big things for other people.  It always meant so much to me as well as Gabe and Lilli that you cared enough to always send cards and gifts to us.  My favorite clothes the kids had as babies were the sweaters you and Grandma knitted. I am grateful you won't be suffering anymore and you will remain in my life forever with the memory of who you were:
    a caring person with an exceptional ability to relate to people and understand where people are coming from. You could always empathize with me at any stage of my life. Love and Peace to you.
