Edward P. Kroschinski

Edward P. Kroschinski, 83, of Berkeley Twp, NJ, passed away on Sunday May 27, 2012 at the Van Dyke Hospice Unit at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City and baptized in Union City Edward raised his family while living in Union, NJ for 40 years before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2000. He was a veteran of the US Navy from 1949 to 1953 having served aboard the USS Albany. He was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River and a member of the Holiday City South Golf Club.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Mary Urbanski Kroschinski; a son Edward and his wife Oshara Kroschinski of Altoona, FL; a son Stephen and his wife Robin Kroschinski of Manchester, NJ; a daughter Virginia and her husband Nick Scarpelli of Edison, NJ; a son Robert and his wife Michelene Kroschinski of Howell, NJ. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 1, 2012 at St. Maximilain Kolbe RC Church at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
