Born in Jersey City, he moved to Toms River 35 years ago.
Mr. Novak was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force
Prior to retiring, he was a jet aircraft mechanic at US Naval Air Engineering Center Hanger # 5.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2004 and by his parents Edward W. Novak Sr. and his mother Helen Hrynkiewicz Novak.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Jessica Novak - Peters and her husband Daryl of Toms River and Jennifer Novak-Smith and her husband Dan of Arizona. A brother Michael and his wife Karen of Maryland. 5 Grandchildren: Samantha, Sabrina, Kamerin, Paige and Jamie. A sister-in-law Jennifer Ward-Granda & Family
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday 6-8 PM at Three B's Bar & Bistro, 314 Route #70, Lakehurst
