Ellen Mary Reina

Ellen Mary (Schulz) Reina, 85, of Toms River, NJ passed away suddenly on Thursday March 28, 2024 at Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Ellen was a lifelong resident of Staten Island before moving to Toms River 15 years ago. She worked as a receptionist for Sullivan and Cromwell Law Firm in NYC and then became a familiar face for all working at Kohl’s in Toms River for many years, retiring in December 2023.

Ellen had many friends that became extended family throughout the years. She enjoyed lunching and BINGO with her friends. Ellen was known for her pistachio cakes and famous potato salad…a recipe no one else can ever get quite right. She had a wicked sense of humor and was always able to bring light and laughter to almost any situation.

Ellen was predeceased by her daughter Ellen Reina Alberts and her daughter-in-law Lisa LiVolsi Reina.

She is survived by her daughters Denise Camuto and her husband Joseph, Rosemarie Reid and her husband Sean, and her son Charles Reina, her brothers Leonard Schulz and his wife Grace as well as Henry Ronald Schulz and his wife Rose Marie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home located at 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery 1852 Victory Blvd Staten Island, NY 10314.
