Gary J Schiavone Jr.

Gary J. Schiavone, Jr., 33, of Toms River,NJ, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived in Jackson, NJ prior to moving to Toms River 8 years ago. He was a 1998 graduate of Jackson Memorial High School. He was a recycling engineer for the Dept. of Public Works in Lakewood for 7 years. He was an avid NJ Devil’s hockey fan and loved to bowl.

Gary is survived by his father, Gary J. Schiavone; his mother and step-father, Eileen and Earl Gelnaw; his sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Richard Lazarus; his nephew and godson R.J.; his paternal grandparents, Gabriel and Valerie Schiavone and Doreen and William Rogers; his maternal grandmother Helen Scanlon. Gary is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visiting Hours will be on Friday August 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Saturday August 17th at 11:00 AM. Cremation will be private.
