Harold S. Fox of Lanoka Harbor, NJ passed away on Monday August 29, 2011 at Community Medical Center at the age of 81. Born in Newark NJ, Harold worked as a Postal Worker while residing in Livingston, NJ before retiring to Lanoka Harbor in 1997. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Service and member of the Old Guard in Forked River. Harold was an active member with the United States Power Squadron for 52 years promoting boating safety and enjoying boating activities with fellow members. His wife, Pauline Fox (nee Flor), predeceased him in 2003. Surviving are his sister-in-law Phyllis Fox of Indiana, close friends Angie and Tom Williams of Forked River, NJ, Janice and Jim Rumbin, and, Tom and Diane Morrissey of Lanoka Harbor, NJ.
Visitation will be on Thursday September 8th, 2011 from 7 - 9 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ. The service will be at the funeral home on Friday September 9th, 2011 at 10 am. Internment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
