Born on November 2, 1930, in Cass Township, Pennsylvania, she lived in Garfield, New Jersey, for many years raising her family before retiring to Toms River.
She was employed for many years by Eastman Kodak, where she was a dedicated and respected employee.
Irene was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church in Toms River, where she faithfully worked bingo for many years and formed lasting friendships along the way.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, in 2008.
Irene is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Patricia, and Gary and Kathleen; her cherished grandchildren, Renee Nadal (husband, Jason) and Brian Sudol; her treasured great-grandsons, Logan and Ethan Nadal; and many loving nieces and nephews. She found her greatest joy in their accomplishments and time spent together.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, Toms River. Interment will be private.
