James Hannah, 80, of Berkeley Twp., passed away at home on Tuesday May 22, 2012. Born Paterson, NJ, he lived most of his life in Haledon, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1986. He was a veteran of the US Navy. James worked as an inter-company Mail Carrier for Wells Fargo Bank in Toms River for 20 years retiring in 2011.
James is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Dolores Heater Hannah; his daughter and her husband Ruth and Roger Van Ness of Hawthorne, NJ, his daughter and husband Deborah and Mark Hechinger of Hawthorne, NJ, and a son James Hannah, Jr of Lake Ariel, PA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday May 25th from 3-7 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Cremation will be private.
