

Jeannette “Dolly” DiStefano ( nee Tagliareni) , 90, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her home. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Garwood NJ for over 40 years before moving to Toms River in 1989. Dolly was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, a member of the Silver Ridge Park North First Aid Auxilliary, the Homeowners Association and the New You Social Club.
Dolly was predeceased by her husband Leonard DiStefano, Sr and her brother Russell Tagliareni. She is survived by two sons; James DiStefano of Toms River and Leonard DiStefano, Jr and his wife Cheryl of Garwood, NJ; three grandchildren, Thomas DiStefano and his wife Carrie of Whitehouse Station, Lori DiStefano of Garwood, Christine DiStefano and her fiancé John Mongey of Morristown; three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Brooklyn, and Samantha; two sisters Mildred Mustillo and Nancy Bovasso and her brother Joseph Tagliareni.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday October9, 2013 from 2 to 6 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
