John L Walsh

John L. Walsh 68 passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding him on Tuesday November 5th 2024. He was born on March 5, 1956 in Summit NJ to his parents Lawrence A. Walsh and Barbara Walsh (Stricker). He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Jeffrey, and Kevin.

John is survived by his loving wife, Karen Walsh (Green). His three children, Jeffrey Walsh, Shaun (Jenifer) Walsh, Dawn May. His five grandchildren, Mason, Jaylen, Megan, Dylan and Aidan. His sister Kim Breslin, his brother Michael (Cathy) Walsh, and many nieces and nephews

John was an Air Force veteran who was proud to serve his country. He was a firefighter in the Air Force and the department of defense. He was a drug and alcohol counselor at the Bath New York VA for many years and helped save countless men.

John will always be remembered for his love of his country, his fellow Veterans, the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and Notre Dame, and of course his Pepsi but what he loved the most though was his family! May you rest in peace. You will never be forgotten.

Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday November 12, 2024 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Burial with Military Honors will be on Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 11:30 am at Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
