

Born in Secaucus, she grew up in Toms River and graduated from Toms River High School East in 2003. After graduation, she moved down to Jacksonville, FL to attend Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, where she studied to be an X-Ray Technician.
Kristian was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a kind, caring, giving soul and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents: Joseph and Gussie Palombini; and her paternal grandparents: Bernardino and Mildred Cortez.
Surviving are her parents, Jo-Ann Caswell and Bernardino Cortez; her brothers: Christopher Cortez and his wife Kelly, and Mark Cortez and his wife Vikki; 2 nieces: Josclyn and Madisyn; and 2 nephews: Haiden and Finn.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 3-8PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 12PM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
