Lawrence J Pollare

Lawrence J. Pollare, 92, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Tuesday April 12th, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newark, NJ he resided in Scotch Plains, NJ prior to moving to Toms River, NJ in 1985. Lawrence is a World War II Veteran, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and member of the Holiday City South Men’s Club. He worked for the Sun Oil Company in Newark, NJ for 35 years retiring in 1982. Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years Elizabeth, sons Frank Pollare and wife Carrie of Pacific Palisades, CA and Lawrence Pollare and wife Susan of Middletown, NJ and grandchildren Lauren, Alessandra, Jonathan and Katrina. Visitation will be Thursday April 14th, 2016 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 15th, 2016 at 10am at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
