Lisa was the beloved wife of Lee Ellison. Together they shared an extraordinary marriage, recently celebrating 35 years filled with love, devotion, and an admiration for one another that was evident to all who knew them. Their relationship was a true partnership and a beautiful example of enduring love.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, John and Edith Piccolo, and her cherished dog, Abbie. Lisa’s heart was genuine and kind, and it seemed everyone who met her felt instantly welcomed and cared for.
Lisa was a fighter. She faced a short but courageous battle with cancer with strength, grace, and quiet determination, never losing the kindness and warmth that defined her.
Lisa was an extremely hard worker and took great pride in her career. She served as the Purchasing Agent for GIOIA Sails in Lakewood, New Jersey, where she was respected for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Lisa found joy in reading, helping others, cooking and baking. She was an amazing cook, known for meals that brought people together and left lasting memories. Chez Ellison famously received nothing but “five-star” reviews and no one ever left the Ellison home hungry—there was always food on the table and a doggie bag to take home. Lisa’s famous Christmas cookies—each year, as the holidays approached, anticipation grew among many who eagerly looked forward to her incredibly delicious treats.
Above all, Lisa will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she gave so freely. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing
