Louis E. Dios

Louis E. Dios, 87, of Berkeley Twp, passed away on Tuesday September 23, 2025 at Complete Care at Green Acres in Toms River. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Louis lived in Edison NJ for over 40 years before moving to the Holiday City Heights section of Berkeley Twp. 12 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Army having served from 1957-1958. Louis worked for many years as a hair stylist and beautician. He also was a dance instructor. He was active in the Holiday City Heights Clubhouse and loved to play golf.

Louis was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Freya in 2023. He is survived by his daughter Marci Krizek and her husband Rick; his son Andrew Dios and his wife Veronica; his 5 grandchildren Adam (Kim), Stephanie (Dominic), Eric (Gina), Heather (Andrew) and Daniel and his great grandchildren Emily, Rhiannon, Lily, Trenton, Grace, Andy and Ivy.

Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 PM on Friday October 3, 2025 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Burial with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery 350 Provinceline Rd. Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
