Louis J. Zaccone

Louis J. Zaccone, 84, of Toms River, passed away on Friday July 8, 2016. Born in Whitestone, NY he had lived in Neptune City, Howell, Lakewood and Barnegat before moving to Toms River 4 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a technical engineer at Fort Monmouth for 37 years before retiring in 1993.

Louis was predeceased by his first wife Theresa Francouer Zaccone, his father Ronald K. Zaccone, his mother Jean K. Krawjewska, his brother Ronald Zaccone, and his step grandchild Timothy O’Connell, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Josephine Buda Zaccone; four sons, Louis J. and Jennifer Zaccone, Jr, David G. and Renee Zaccone, Michael and Joann Zaccone and John Zaccone; his twin brother Peter Zaccone; his sister Rose Elzner; three step-children, Ann and Danny Picurro, Linda and Tim O’Connell and Ken and Jo-Ann Frances; 6 grandchildren Michael J. Zaccone and his wife Kristen, Jason Zaccone, Eric Zaccone, Jeffrey Zaccone and his wife Christine, Alissa Zaccone and Erica Zaccone; 3 great-grandchildren Sophia Zaccone, Emily Zaccone and Jackson Zaccone, and 7 step-grandchildren Michael Piccuro, Daniel Piccuro, Lori O’Donnell, Kevin Frances, Kenny Frances, Karley Frances and Nicholas Taylor.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 11, 2016 from 5 to 9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Burial will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Sea Girt.
