With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Gardner (also known as “Babe”), a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved aunt, and cousin who passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Shorrock Gardens in Bricktown, N.J. at the age of 89. She was born on April 24, 1935 in Newark, N.J. to Phillip Rubino and Anna Rubino (Celani). Margaret was predeceased by her sisters, Marietta Terrazzino and her husband Vinnie, and Dorothy Pena and her husband Joe. She was known for her humorous ways, anecdotes, and love for her family. Margaret lived in Newark, N.J. until 1996 when she moved to Toms River, N.J.. She was an employee of Paramount Bakery in Newark N.J., ADP in Clifton, N.J., and DPF in Lakewood, N.J.. She leaves behind her loving children Toni Goglia and son in law Stanley, Robert Gardner, Mark Gardner, and Craig Gardner along with her grandchildren Melissa and Todd Malland, Stanley Goglia, Marissa LaFiura, Robert Latronico, and 9 great grandchildren who will forever cherish the many memories created throughout the years.
