Marjorie J. Finn, 93, of Toms River died on Monday, April 05, 2010 at the Holiday Care Center in Toms River. Born on December 17, 1916 in Plymouth, PA to Enoch and Jennie Williams, she lived in Rahway, NJ before moving to the Toms River area in 2003.
Mrs. Finn attended the Wyckoff Heights Hospital Nursing School in Brooklyn, NY. She was a registered nurse for the Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ.
Mrs. Finn was predeceased by her husband, James A. Finn in 1978 and her daughter, Marie J. Corbally in 2000. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, John R. Finn and Patti of Beachwood, NJ and Patrick Finn and Stephanie of Durham, NC, her four grandchildren; Michael and Kevin Finn and Christy and Carolynn Corbally. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 1-3:30PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A funeral service will take place at 3:30PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Marjorie and Marie’s names to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, www.ocrf.org.
