

Martin Zaratan Jimenez passed away peacefully in his home on December 17, 2024, at the age of 57. He was surrounded by family throughout his final days, ensuring he met the end of his life with a sense of peace and support. He was a loving father to his six children, Tyler, Cole, Gabriel, Anna, Luke, and Arabella, and a beloved husband to Debra McGivern-Jimenez. He was also a respected physician at Community Medical Center-Toms River and partners with Alberto, Alberto, Gabriel & Jimenez Medical Associates.
Martin was born on October 1, 1967 to Fe and Leonardo Jimenez in Manila, Philippines. He received his medical degree from University of Santo Tomas in 1991 and moved to Monmouth County, New Jersey, in 1995 to pursue his career as an internist. He was strongly devoted to his work and will be remembered for his unique compassion, not only for his patients, but for his family and friends. Even throughout his sickness, he continued to provide for his family and care for his patients to the best of his ability.
He has always been a devout member of the Catholic faith, with a particular devotion to St. Bridget in his final months. His unwavering faith brought him comfort and acceptance throughout his sickness.
His life will be remembered and honored by his wife and children, his brothers and sisters-in-law Raphael and Jennifer Jimenez and Emilio and Rose Jimenez, his mother-in-law Edie McGivern, his father-in-law Edward McGivern, his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, his coworkers, and his many patients.
A funeral Mass service will be held at his local parish, Holy Innocents Church in Neptune City, on December 27th at 10:00AM.
