

Mary J. Ingram, 87, of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Elizabeth and Roselle Park before moving to the Holiday City Heights section of Berkeley Twp. in 1993. Mary worked as a directory assistance operator for NJ Bell for over 30 years before retiring in 1992. She was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township and member of the choral group. She was a volunteer of the Holiday City Heights First Aid Squad, a former dancer with the Calendar Girls of Toms River and a member of the Red Hat Society. Her passion was ballroom dancing.
Mary was predeceased by her husband John in 1981. She is survived by her son, Alexander Slowinski and his wife Patricia; three daughters, Susan Sisko and her companion Eric Gardner, Deborah Urig and her husband Michael, Maryann Pascrell and her husband Thomas; she is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and her faithful shih tzu Molly.
Visiting hours will be held from 2-6 PM on Sunday April 24, 2016 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River.
