Megan R. McCarthy, 35, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Thursday June 23, 2022 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was born in Edison and raised in Sayreville NJ. She graduated from Cook College at Rutgers and then the Rutgers School of Health Professions. She lived in Toms River and was working as a dietician at Complete Care at Green Acres in Toms River. Megan loved to cook, shop and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Megan is survived by her parents Michael and Rose McCarthy, her boyfriend Pete Gonzalez, her sister Shannon Seevers and her husband Donald, her sister Kerry Daskalovitz and her husband Kevin, her maternal grandmother Annerose Menden, her Uncle Hans and Aunt Donna Menden, her Uncle Ronald and Aunt Darlene Menden, her Aunt Karin and Uncle Harold Eckert, her nephews Michael McCarthy and Donald Seevers Jr. and her nieces Luna Seevers and Hannah Daskalovitz. She is also survived by many cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a celebration of Megan’s life will begin at 6:30 pm.
