Michael F. Picone, 100, of Berkeley Twp., died Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Community Medical Center. He was born in Elizabeth and lived in Linden for many years before moving to Berkeley Twp. 34 years ago. He was an upholsterer for Simmon’s Co. in Elizabeth for 45 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Julia in 2009. He is survived by a son Richard Picone and his wife Karen; a daughter Marie Risko and her husband George; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be Friday September 23, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 9:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
