

Pasquale Tardo, 99, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Ermelinda Tardo, Pasquale had lived in Lehigh Acres, Florida before retiring to Toms River, NJ in 1992. Pasquale was a Sanitation Foreman with the City of New York for 28 years. Pasquale was a WWII Purple Heart Army Veteran who proudly served his country, fighting during the Normandy Beach Invasion.
Pasquale enjoyed playing Bocce Ball, Bowling, Golfing and playing Softball. He loved watching his beloved Mets and Giants. Late in life he took to cooking most importantly for his family.
Pasquale was predeceased by his wife Eleanor in 2005, his granddaughter Valerie Davis in 2020 and his great grandson Luca Capobianco in 2012, and is survived by his loving daughters; Ermelinda Capobianco and her husband Leonard, and Debra Esposito. Also surviving are his five grandchildren; Paul, Pasquale (Danielle) and Christopher (Tracy) Capobianco, Alexis Armenti and Len Davis, his seven great grandchildren; Hope and Paige Davis, Ava and Julian Latarroca, Gabriel, Ella and Santino Capobianco, and his loving companion Ginger Albanese and a host of loving nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2024 10:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River with entombment to follow to St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
