Born in Toms River, she lived in Bayville before moving to Whiting 6 years ago.
She was a member and very active in the Faith Community United Methodist Church in Bayville.
Prior to retiring in 1992, she had worked as a Technical Editor for 38 years with the Naval Air Station, Lakehurst.
Surviving is her husband Charles Hamilton. A daughter Trina Anderson of Pt. Pleasant. A step-son Michael Hamilton of North Carolina. A step-daughter Joyce Lewis of Delaware. 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
She is predeceased by a Granddaughter Louise Hurt.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11am -12:30 pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:30pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Burial will follow at the Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor.
