

Patricia G. Major, 75, of Toms River, NJ passed peacefully on Sunday February 8, 2026 at her home. Born January 22, 1951 in Newark, NJ (Ironbound section), she lived in Belleville and Old Bridge until 2018 before moving to Toms River. She attended East Side High School and Montclair State University off campus taking courses credited in Business Management Supervision. She worked in Jewelry manufacturing and design from 1978 with Kramentz & Co. , Newark, NJ, Nicolet Watch Company in Newark, NJ and Larter & Son, in Laurence Harbor, NJ, Frederick Goldman in NYC, Krantz Creations in NYC until her retirement in 2021 after ten years of service with David Yurman in NYC.
Patricia was predeceased by her cherished parents Helen and Joseph Major; her sister Gloria Major Leonardis Jr. and her nephew William J. “Billy” Leonardis Jr.
She is survived by her sisters Deborah and brother-in-law Anthony Lanza Sr. and Kathy Major; Nephew Anthony Lanza Jr. and wife Chelsea and Nieces Natalie, Andrea, Lauren and Charlee.
In her younger years she enjoyed NYC Broadway Plays, Concerts, Atlantic City, Comedy Shows, Dancing, and Musical entertainment dining clubs. Sports teams Yankees and Giants and telling a good joke while getting her brother-in-law Anthony to laugh at them along with her nephew.
Her hobbies were bowling, playing a friendly game of cards with friends, cooking, doing puzzles, dancing, softball, and enjoyed bicycle riding wanting to do it more when she retired, thanks to her nephew Anthony, when he was a kid and asked her on a visit with him to ride a bicycle again, she enjoyed it so much. Pat started to teach herself how to play her favorite instrument the sound she loved (saxophone).
Christian burial and viewing is private.
