

Peter C. Liguori, 85, of Holiday City, Berkeley, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fairview, Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Palau theater during World War II. Peter was the proud former business owner of Xerostat, located in Paramus. He also had a successful career as a salesman selling copiers, real estate and vehicles.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 63 years, Edith Liguori; two children, a loving daughter, Patricia; a loving son, Peter and his wife Janice; four surviving grandchildren, Scott, Jacqueline, Timothy and Mollie; predeceased by a grandchild, Katherine; survived by a great-grandchild, Vincent.
Mr. Liguori was a life member of the Marine Corps League, Toms River, N.J. Detachment; a life member of the VFW, Post 10185 of Berkeley, and a member of the American Legion, Post 1000.
On Monday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m., family and friends may call at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. At 10:30 a.m. there will be a mass for Peter at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Berkeley. At 12:30 p.m., a service will be conducted at the chapel of Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown (Arneytown). In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in Peter's memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, c/o Compassionate Care Hospice, 833 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
