Peter C. Liguori

Peter C. Liguori, 85, of Holiday City, Berkeley, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fairview, Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Palau theater during World War II. Peter was the proud former business owner of Xerostat, located in Paramus. He also had a successful career as a salesman selling copiers, real estate and vehicles.

Surviving is his beloved wife of 63 years, Edith Liguori; two children, a loving daughter, Patricia; a loving son, Peter and his wife Janice; four surviving grandchildren, Scott, Jacqueline, Timothy and Mollie; predeceased by a grandchild, Katherine; survived by a great-grandchild, Vincent.

Mr. Liguori was a life member of the Marine Corps League, Toms River, N.J. Detachment; a life member of the VFW, Post 10185 of Berkeley, and a member of the American Legion, Post 1000.

On Monday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m., family and friends may call at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. At 10:30 a.m. there will be a mass for Peter at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Berkeley. At 12:30 p.m., a service will be conducted at the chapel of Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown (Arneytown).
