Philip J Rizzuto

Philip J. Rizzuto, 94, of Toms River, NJ passed away at home on Saturday August 31, 2024. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Philip lived in Hasbrouck Hts., NJ for 25 years before moving to Toms River in 1988. He worked as a radio operator for RCA Inc., NYC, and after 50 years with RCA, he retired from his position with them at the United Nations Building. Philip was a proud and active charter member of the Silver Ridge North Clubhouse; he took leadership roles in the Men’s Club and Republican Club. He loved participating in the Golf Club, as well.

He will join his beloved wife of 69 years, Carmela, and his grandson Christopher in their heavenly home. He is survived by his daughter, Marie and her husband Robert; his son Philip and his wife Alexandra; his grandchildren Geoffrey, Meredith, and Nicholas; and his great-grandchildren Brayden, Summer and Colin.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday September 9, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday September 10, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757.
