

Robert Patrick Brown, age 89, of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, after battling kidney failure for over 2 years. Born in New York to the late Marion Hogan Brown and Charles Crouch. Robert had lived in Belleville, NJ and then Toms River, NJ before moving to Bonita Springs in 2014. Robert worked as a truck driver for many years. He also spent 12 years as a volunteer with the National Guard.
Robert’s greatest joy came when he was entertaining his grandchildren and great grandchildren with funny faces and jokes. He loved a good meal and enjoyed painting, drawing and other crafts. He was a favorite of the staff and clients at Davita Dialysis in Bonita Springs where he enjoyed talking to everyone during the 3 days a week he spent having dialysis.
Robert was predeceased by his dear wife of 41 years Joanne Brown (née Accomando.) He was also predeceased by his brother Frank Brown. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Arline Brown (née Gulezian) and by his two sons Robert Brown (Kim) Michael Brown (Angela) and stepdaughter Deborah Walters (Edward.) He is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren: Jordan (Diana) Brown; Nicholas (Liza)Brown; Ashley Brown; Anthony Brown; Morgan Brown; Christopher Brown; Jayden Brown and 5 precious great grandchildren: Jack Brown; Luke Brown; Danny Brown; Graham Brown and Kendrick Brown. He is also survived by his brothers: Lester (Susan) Brown; Ralph (Aileen) Brown; Richard (Susan) Brown. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Anita (George) Lackey, Lorraine (Al) Ciano and his brother-in-law Jim (Ginny) Gulezian as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Inurnment will follow to St. Joseph’s Cemetery where a committal service will begin at 12:30. A luncheon will follow at 1:00pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home.
