Robert F Ulrich Sr.

Robert F. Ulrich Sr., 92, of Toms River, passed away on Friday August 24, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Old Bridge for 35 years and Boca Raton, FL for 13 years before moving to Toms River in 2004. He was a WW II Veteran having served in the Coast Guard. Robert worked as a brakeman for the PA Railroad for 38 years retiring in 1987. He was a 4th degree Grand Knight of the K of C at St. Ambrose Church in Old Bridge.

Robert was predeceased by his wife Kathryn in 2017. He is survived by his three daughters; Karen Ulrich-Mazalewski (Michael), Joanne Martin (Patrick), Kathryn O’Connor (James); his son Robert F. Ulrich Jr. (Dorothea) and is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg.
