Steven T. Pepitone, 62, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday May 18th at Community Medical Center. Born in Teaneck, NJ, he lived his entire life in NJ and then moved Bernards Bay, NY for 6 years before moving to Toms River a year ago. He was a crane operator for Local #825 Operating Engineers in Springfield for 40 years.
Steve is survived by his wife Gloria Bertolini; five children, Steven Pepitone , Hope Pepitone, Samantha Lang, Tracey Lister, Courtney Aten; his mother Angelina Pepitone; his brother Gregory Pepitone; his sister Lucille Layne; his grandchildren, Matthew David Pepitone, Justin Aten, Colin Lister, Jeremy Aten and was also expecting his 5th grandchild in November.
