Teresa Mercaldo, 87, of Toms River passed away on Saturday May 16th, 2015 at the Concord Healthcare Center in Lakewood, NJ. Born in New York City, she resided in Yonkers, NY prior to moving to Toms River in 1984. Teresa was predeceased by her loving husband John. Surviving are her children Anthony Mercaldo and wife Rebecca of Danbury, CT, Barbara Mercaldo and Charles Whidden of Manhattan, NY and Teriann Miele and husband Thomas of Farmingdale, NJ, sister Julie Moretti of Florida, 7 grandchildren Bennett Jon, Morgan, Gena, Gabrielle, Gianna, Isabella and Adriana and dear friend Camille Scalabrino of Toms River. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 20th, 2015 at 11:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Berkeley Township, NJ.
