William G. Harris, 80, of Forked River, NJ passed away on Saturday July 19th, 2014 at Holiday Care Center in Berkeley Township. Born in Nashville, TN, he resided in Jersey City, Toms River and Kunkletown, PA prior to moving to Forked River. He worked for over 35 years as a Manager for various Pathmark Grocery Stores throughout New Jersey and later for Walmart in Toms River for 8 years. William was an avid fisherman and enjoyed Nascar. He was predeceased by his loving wife Stella and siblings Margie, Lee and Thomas. Surviving are his daughters Shirley and husband John Hover of Forked River and Diane Harris of Bayonne, sons William Harris of Toms River and Robert and wife Sue Harris of PA, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday July 23rd, 2014 from 12:00pm to 12:30pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
