It is with great sorrow I announce the passing of my beloved wife for 30 years of marriage.
She was born in Manila Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1986. We met at the Asian friendship dance in 1988, and have been together ever since for a grand total of 37 years. Now with her gone I am devastated as a great deal of my life has been with her.
Now the rest of my life will be without her. I will miss her greatly we had many ups and many downs but it was with her I was with for 37 years which is a long time especially in today’s throw away world of short term relationships. I do not think I will ever not miss her.
A visitation for Amelia will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Ave W, Vaughan. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St, Thornhill.
