Andrew passed peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by his immediate family, parents Jane and Iliff Peck, and his sister Alison Peck (Glen Perry), and the members of his L’Arche Toronto family.
Andrew was a kind, gentle and thoughtful man with a strong work ethic and a lively sense of humor. He lived at the L’Arche Toronto Community where he was well loved and respected. By all accounts, he was a quiet influencer with an innate skill of convening people and teaching important life lessons of love and compassion.
Andrew loved music, horseback riding, dogs and games. He particularly enjoyed the company of friends and acts of service for which he was awarded The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for Volunteering.
Andrew will be sorely missed and always remembered by his extended family and his many friends.
A celebration of Andrew’s life is to be held at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, Ontario on September 14, 2024 at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the Peck family kindly requests that donations be made to L’Arche Toronto in memory of Andrew.
