Angelito was born on June 28, 1944, in the Philippines. He lived a life marked by faith, humility, and love for his family. He went home to be with the Lord peacefully on May 15, 2026, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
A devoted husband, father, and “Lolo” to his grandchildren, Angelito found his greatest joy in serving God and caring for the people around him. He was a man of quiet strength, deep prayer, and unwavering faith. Whether in Canada or back home in the Philippines, his love crossed oceans and his prayers reached heaven.
He will be deeply missed by:
• His children and grandchildren here in Canada
• His beloved siblings and extended family in the Philippines
• His brothers and sisters in Christ at Willowdale Life in North York, Canada
• His friends in the show business community back home in the Philippines
• His wider church family, friends, and all whose lives he touched with his gentle spirit and steadfast faith
Though we mourn his absence, we rejoice that he is now at rest in the presence of the Lord he loved and served faithfully. We take comfort in God’s promise: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” – Psalm 116:15.
Visitation will take place at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street in Toronto on May 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on May 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
