Ann Bernice Henry

Ann Bernice Henry, 91, of Thornhill died in hospital on April 18, 2025. She was born in North Bay, Ontario, on October 14, 1933. Ann attended Teachers’ College, and later, York University. Ann married William Joseph Henry on July 25, 1959, and had three children, Laura (Rolando), Mary Jane (Kirk), and Michael. She was a creative and dedicated teacher who taught Grade One for many years at Lillian Public School. Ann loved spending time at her cottage on the Burnt River and travelling across Canada and abroad. She was a talented artist and an avid reader. Ann will be remembered as a loving and generous mother who would do anything for her family. Ann is survived by her three children, her grandchildren, Annie, Jennifer, and Justin, her sisters, Edie Rawson and Hilda Martin, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her siblings Stanley, Dolly, Bill, and Tommy, and her son-in-law, Rolando Lujan.
