Antoun Yousef Seif

On Friday January 20th, 2012, we lost our beloved Antoun Seif.

Husband of Rosa Semaan Younan, his wife of 56 years. Father to sons Joe (Rita Chibani), Fred (Amal Abou Georgi), Simon (Doris Haidner) and Anwar (Elizabeth Stewart). Grandfather of Noura, Anthony, Rosa, Tyler, George, Andrew, Adam, Peter, Michael and Alissa Seif. In 1928, Born in Beirut Lebanon to Youssef Faris Seif and Mariam Kenaan.

Predeceased by sisters Evelyn Seif, Therese Seif, and Emily Seif Abou Haider. Sadly missed by brothers Elias Seif and Habib Seif. Uncle of many nephews and nieces children of Elias, Habib and Emily. Antoun followed in his father's footsteps, a stone mason, and went on to become a building contractor. Immigrated to Canada in 1976 to shelter his family from the war in Lebanon and joined his wife's cousins, and built a new life in Canada. We love you, we miss you and we cherish the good times we lived together. Nothing can replace you, and your memory will live on in our hearts forever. God Bless your Soul.

Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge Street (south of Steeles Ave) on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 12:30 pm. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery with a Tribute Meal to follow.
