My sincere condolences to the Giles Family from the Paynters.  Our hearts are saddened but also thankful to have known  Barb over the years. She had the ability to make you feel special, as if you were the only one that mattered! We always felt loved and taken care of, for example  she knew how much I loved carnation milk so without exception,  there would always be a can in the  fridge whenever we visited. I'll never forget that. We will always Cherish the Memories. We love you Barb!!!

We were saddened to learn of Barbara's death. She was a dedicated and tireless worker who assisted anyone who wanted or needed help. We first met Barbara and  Borden through the Beavers organization in the 1980's when our sons were young and benefited greatly from their guidance. They were wonderful years, and we treasure the happy memories.
May Barbara and Borden rest in peace together.

I met your mom about 20 years ago or more at North York  Temple Corps we used to sit across from each other in the back row 
Than we became good friends with your parents who were our Christian ✝️ Mentors and Postive Excellent examples of role models of Loving Faithful Parents/Grandparents.
Barb was a special friend of mind we would often talk on the phone often would end our conversation by saying "that all I know" we would pray 🙏 she was a real example of a òf showing God's love to us. She had the gifts of Mercy (would always sends cards) Caring  Kindness and Encouraging 
She loved my family and one of the major highlights of the year was our Family Christmas Dinner at her.home 
I loved her as a Best Friend and surely Missy her

Our family will always have the fondest memories of Grandma Barb. She opened her heart and home to us for several Paynter/Giles Family Christmases. She offered guidance and support to my mother and father when they were raising my sister and I. She was a constant in our family and we will be forever thankful that she was a part of our lives and allowed us to be a part of hers.

Barbara was a loving and kind woman who opened her home to my children in their formative years. I always felt as if they were with a good friend of mine and we watched together as her family and ours grew and flourished - thank you Barbara.

I was very sad to hear of Barbara's passing. She was indeed a good woman who manages a busy household and her many children as well as my son Andrew who was under 1 year of age when Barbara began taking care of babies and children in her home care work. A truly decent honest and religious lady we felt very safe knowing our son was in  good hands for a number of years which allowed us to continue developing in our future professions.
Barbara will be sorely missed however, knowing she is now the best hands her memory with me will prevail.

Our condolences to everyone in the Giles family. We spent many times at the arena or at the ball diamond with Barb proudly cheering on her grandkids!! She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered. Hugs  from the Mavin family.
