Barbara passed unexpectedly on Tuesday May 20, 2025 at Scarborough Grace Hospital. She is survived by her children Mark (Jun), Lori (Myles), her grandchildren Yasmin and J.R. Barbara is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Frank.
Barbara will be remembered for her love of her home and the neighbourhood that she lived in for sixty-three years. She had many fond memories of precious time spent there with family, friends, neighbours and the get togethers they shared. She lived in the city for most of her adult life but she never lost sight of her small town roots.
Every new person that she met was not viewed as a stranger but as a potential friend. She will be remembered for her love of a good laugh, a long chat, and her unforgettable spirit.
Open visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday May 26th at Kane-Jerrett funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you to consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
