With great sadness, we announce
that Bridget passed away
peacefully at home, surrounded by
her loving family. Beloved wife of
Dr. Harry Vorps and proud and
devoted mother to sons Connor and
Matthew. Survived by her brother
Edmund Zasada, brother-in-law
Bob Vorps and his wife, Daiva,
niece Laura Dean (Jeremy) and
nephew Robert Vorps (Amanda),
aunt Carol Sobinski. Also, deeply
missed by many aunts, uncles and
cousins of the Zasada and Hockley
families and a wide circle of friends
and colleagues. Bridget was a
passionate educator with the
Toronto Catholic District School
Board, most recently as an advisor
with the Safe Schools Department.
She will be remembered for her
warmth, generosity and kindness,
her keen wit, intellect and insight.
Bridget will be dearly missed
and forever held in our hearts.
Special thanks to family and friends
who so generously offered their
time, love and support to lighten
the burden of Bridget’s difficult
journey. Visitation will be held at
