Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, surrounded by his family on Monday, May 23, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Jean Meyrick. Loving father of Bruce, Peter (Murn Meyrick), and Sandra (Michael Thomson). Proud grandfather of Tyler, Luke and Clayton Meyrick and Jonathan and Scott Tokiwa. Remembered by his dear friend and companion Nancy McKenzie and her children Barbara Verge (Michael) and Brian McKenzie. Don attended Riverdale Collegiate, Victoria College, U of T and Osgood Hall Law School before embarking on a successful career practicing law in Toronto. Don had great passion for his cottage, landscape painting, sailing, opera, travel and nature. He lived life with great compassion for others.
Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge St (south of Steeles Ave) on Tuesday May 31, 2016 from 12pm until time of service in the chapel at 1pm.
