Edith Eleanor Mason

August 5, 1925 – January 1, 2016

It is with sadness and fond memories we announce the passing of Eleanor Mason on

Monday, Jan. 1, 2016 at Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care.

She was born in Niagara-on-the Lake to Welsford and Edith Bishopric. She was married

for 45 years to the late Edward Mason. She was predeceased by her sisters, Leila Baultruweit and

Mary Sandison, and by her children, Richard and Nancy.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters Deborah, Rosemary, and Beverley, her daughter-in-

law, Joy, her son-in-law, Donald, her grandsons James, Clifford, Donald, and Philip, and her

great grandchildren Drey, Jaelyn, Trenden, Clayton, Richard, Edward and Colin. Eleanor will be

greatly remembered by her other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 6191 Yonge St., Toronto,

ON M2M 4K4 on Wednesday, January 6 from Noon – 1 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service

held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Highland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers,

donations to Alzheimer's Society of Ontario, 20 Eglinton Ave. W., 16th Floor, Toronto M4R 1K8
