Ed was the beloved husband of Janice, with whom he shared two wonderful sons David and Philip.
Dearest brother of Paula Harrington-Hill, Linda Schofield (Mark), Angie Williamson (Gary), Natalie Catenacci-Ross (Wayne), Kathy Reid (Jeff), Dean Caten and Dan Caten. Predeceased by his big brother Kenny Caten. Survived by his sister in law Sherry Maxwell. Ed will be fondly remembered by his brother in law James (Cheryl), along with his 18 nieces and nephews.
Ed was a deeply devoted family man, who had a passion for music, which helped him through tending to his house and home of which he was very proud.
Visiting will be held at the Kane-Jerrett North York Chapel, (6191 Yonge Street, south of Steeles Avenue) on Sunday February 16, 2025 from 12 noon until time of the funeral service which will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Ed's memory to Sunnybrook Hospital - Odette Cancer Center
