She will be deeply missed by her daughter Inna, her grandchildren Matvei (Ellen) and Marsha, and her great grandchildren Emil and Issac.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Israel.
Elena was very active and was passionate about gymnastics, hiking and skiing. She was a Holocaust Survivor and came to Canada in the 1990's to join her family here. After coming to Canada, Elena pursued her interest in travel, visiting a great deal of Europe and America. Elena was an engineer in telecommunications. She also loved to cook and treated her family to great dishes and desserts during special occasions.
The family would like to thank Circle of Care for their compassionate care and support.
A private family service will take place followed by her cremation.
