Ewout "Ed" Boekee

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Ewout (Ed) Boekee, on August 28, 2021 at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill. Ed passed away peacefully due to pancreatic cancer whilst alongside his family, leaving behind his wife Catalina, and son Jeffrey.

Ed was a generous and God serving man. He often helped in the organization of his longtime church, All Nations Christian Fellowship, where he also did the bookkeeping. Ed was always very hard working, serving the Royal Bank of Canada for over 40 years as a computer programmer. He was a loving husband, father, and friend to many. May we take comfort in knowing that he is in the presence of his Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ for all eternity.

A visitation for Ed will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 9:00AM to 11:30AM at Willowdale Christian Reformed Church, 70 Hilda Avenue, Willowdale, ON, M2M 1V5. A funeral service will occur after the visitation from 11:30AM to 12:30PM at Willowdale Christian Reformed Church. A committal service will proceed after the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst Street, North York, ON, M2R 1Y6. These services have a limit on attendees due to COVID, so if you are interested in attending and have not yet notified, please text either Catalina or Jeffrey.
