Irene (Rene) MacMillan Hull in her 108th year passed away peacefully in her Toronto home. Born in MacGregor Manitoba and raised in Lindsay Ontario, Irene trained to become a teacher in that region, and eventually in Toronto where her skills were applied to students of special needs, from which she retired in 1978. She always enjoyed a soiree and her cottage in the Kawartha Lakes, especially at Thanksgiving. Her charm and wit nurtured many life-long friendships.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Ralph Bulmer Hull (1959), her five sisters Ann, Mary, Margaret, Dorothy and Alison. Loving mother of Ralph (Paula) and Marcia (Barry). Adored by grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who benefited from many a knitted tog made with her love.
Irene enjoyed life to the fullest. Rene would always light up a room with her infectious smile and “full-of-life” laughter. She will be missed.
