Kathleen Mitchell

We are saddened and heartbroken to announce the passing of Kathleen Mitchell (nee Milburn) affectionately known as Kay by her family and friends.

Kay, 71 of Toronto, Ontario, Canada passed away on July 27, 2022, in the arms of her beloved husband John Mitchell. Kay was born April 2, 1951, to Evelynn and William Milburn at St. Paul’s Cray, Kent, England. In the past year Kay battled and won a diagnosis of cancer, with sheer guts, determination and positive outlook, typical characteristics of Kay. Unfortunately, the side affects of the cancer treatment ultimately caused her passing. Kay will be forever remembered by her loving husband John, son Scott, stepdaughter Vanessa, son-in-law Paul Zuechner, and step-granddaughters Felicity and Aislinn Zuechner. She was predeceased by her older sister Pat England (nee Milburn) and will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Mick England, nephews Neil England and his wife Michelle, Michael England and his wife Ann and their daughters Niamh and Cara England. She will be sadly missed by her older brother Geoff and sister-in-law Mary, younger brother Peter and sister-in-law Kay, and her nieces and nephews Keith, Luke, Ashley, Alex, Billy-Eve, Joseph, Archie, Glen and Jacob Milburn.

Kay will be fondly remembered by her in laws in Australia, Colleen and Ian and Lynnette and Brian and their respective families. As well as her in-laws in England, George Leong and his daughters, Zoe and Angelina and her husband Sean Bulmer and thier son Christian Bulmer.
